Getting Started with 1776 Claw: A Practical Implementation Guide
February 20, 2026
Getting started with 1776 Claw is designed to be straightforward. We've implemented across dozens of manufacturing operations, and the process follows a consistent pattern that minimizes disruption to your daily operations.
Week 1: Discovery and Assessment. We start with a 90-minute operational walkthrough — either on-site or via video call. The goal isn't to audit your shop; it's to understand your specific pain points. Where do things slow down? What information is hardest to find? Which processes depend on one person's knowledge? This conversation shapes which Claw modules we deploy first.
Week 2: Connection and Configuration. 1776 Claw connects to your existing tools — email, file shares, ERP system (if applicable). We don't require you to change anything about how you work today. The system layers intelligence on top of your current workflows. Configuration typically takes 2-3 days, handled entirely by our implementation team.
Week 3: Pilot Deployment. We go live with your first Claw module — usually RFQ Claw or Ops Claw, depending on where the biggest impact is. Your team starts using it alongside their existing process. Every AI-generated output includes a confidence indicator, and humans approve every action. Nothing happens without your team's sign-off.
Week 4: Optimization and Expansion. Based on the first week of real usage, we fine-tune the system. Accuracy improves as 1776 Claw learns your specific terminology, customer patterns, and operational preferences. At this point, most shops are ready to add a second module.
What you don't need: New hardware. A dedicated IT person. Months of training. A complete process overhaul. If your team can use email, they can use 1776 Claw.
What you do need: A willingness to let AI handle the repetitive parts of your operation — the data extraction, the follow-up tracking, the documentation assembly — so your skilled people can focus on the work that actually requires their expertise.
The typical time to first measurable value: 2-3 weeks from kickoff. The typical ROI payback period: under 90 days.
